Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, document, and validate business requirements to ensure clear understanding and alignment with organisational goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to business processes, leveraging data and best practices to drive operational excellence.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, document user stories, and support project delivery.
• Produce high-quality business analysis deliverables including process maps, functional specifications, and gap analyses.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels in an accessible format.
• Monitor implemented changes to ensure objectives are achieved, and benefits are realised.
• Support testing, training, and change management activities as new processes and systems are introduced.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Proven professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a relevant analytical role.
• Strong capability in gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management, with a collaborative approach to working across departments and with varied teams.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards innovation and improvement.
• Fluency in Portuguese (fluent or native level) and intermediate (or higher) English is required.
• Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques.
• Awareness or experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is an advantage.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
• Relevant experience in business analysis or process improvement initiatives (required).
• Knowledge of business process mapping, requirements elicitation, and documentation standards.
• Experience in supporting IT or digital transformation projects is desirable.
• Formal Business Analysis or Project Management certifications (such as CCBA, CBAP, PRINCE2, or PMP) are advantageous.
