Electric Mobility Product Owner
We are seeking an experienced Electric Mobility Product Owner to join our team and drive the development of innovative electric mobility products and services. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to define product vision, prioritise features, and deliver solutions that improve urban and commercial electric transport experiences.
Role summary — Electric mobility product ownership
As the Electric Mobility Product Owner you will serve as Goldenergy’s key point of contact for the electric mobility ecosystem, including charge point operators, mobility service providers, installation partners, technology vendors, and other strategic stakeholders. You will help shape our public charging, home charging, and partner strategy, while ensuring strong execution, service quality, regulatory alignment, and sustainable commercial growth.
This is a high-impact role for someone who combines market credibility, strong stakeholder management, operational rigor, and strategic vision. You should be comfortable representing Goldenergy externally, negotiating partnerships, improving partner performance, and working cross-functionally with commercial, operations, legal, technical, and customer service teams to scale our electric mobility business.
Key responsibilities — EV product owner responsibilities
Build and manage strategic relationships with charge point operators, mobility service providers, installation partners, hardware vendors, and other relevant market stakeholders.
Identify, negotiate, and launch partnerships that expand network access, improve customer experience, and create new business opportunities.
Own partner governance, performance reviews, and business cadence, with clear KPIs for service quality, uptime, operational execution, adoption, and commercial performance.
Work cross-functionally with commercial, operations, marketing, legal, technical, and customer service teams to bring initiatives to market and continuously improve them.
Oversee service design and continuous improvement for EV charging products and services, ensuring clear customer value propositions and scalable operating models.
Ensure regulatory and technical alignment across electric mobility activities, including interoperability, compliance, and service quality standards.
Monitor market trends, customer behavior, pricing models, competitor activity, and technology developments to inform decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Support the selection and validation of partners, products, and operating models for Goldenergy’s electric mobility portfolio.
Help build and lead a growing electric mobility team, setting direction, priorities, and a high-performance culture.
Essential experience and skills — electric mobility product owner skills
Significant experience in electric mobility, EV charging, energy, or adjacent infrastructure sectors in a senior business, partnerships, operations, or product leadership role.
Strong network and credibility within the Portuguese electric mobility ecosystem.
Demonstrated experience managing strategic partnerships, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional execution.
Good understanding of public and residential EV charging, roaming and interoperability models, partner ecosystems, and customer experience drivers.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs and using performance insights to improve results.
Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Availability to travel across Portugal for partner meetings, field visits, and industry engagement.
Desirable — Nice to have :)
Familiarity with the Portuguese regulatory and market structure for electric mobility.
Experience with EV charging standards, roaming platforms, APIs, or interoperability concepts.
Previous experience in energy retail, charging networks, or e-mobility platforms.
Experience leading teams or building new business lines.
