About the role

Goldenergy is seeking an experienced Team Leader - Solar PV & EV Charging Installations to join our New Energy team. In this role, you will lead the installation and maintenance of both Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers. You will be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing suppliers, and ensuring high standards of quality and compliance. Additionally, you will mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Your role will also include collaborating closely with our Sales and Customer Support teams, both internally and externally, to provide technical expertise and drive successful project outcomes.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of Solar PV and EV Charger systems, ensuring all projects meet compliance and quality standards.

• Manage supplier relationships, including the evaluation of performance and KPIs during regular meetings.

• Manage and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and overseeing their work.

• Oversee the management of warranties, coordinating with partners for local assistance and repairs as necessary.

• Perform detailed audits and site visits to assess installation requirements and project viability.

• Conduct advanced technical training sessions for the Customer Support and Sales teams (internal and external).

• Make periodic onsite visits to Solar Photovoltaic installations, to evaluate the installation quality and compliance with the security policies

• Stay updated with industry trends, ensuring the team adapts to new technologies and methodologies.

What you'll bring?

• Strong command of the Portuguese language, either at a native level or C1 proficiency;
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, installing, or managing Solar PV systems or EV Chargers.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with project management tools.

• knowledge of compliance and quality standards related to Solar PV and EV Charger installations.

• Experience leading people.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
